Boracay Island | The Famous Paradise Of Aklan

Boracay Island is undoubtedly one of the most popular places in the Philippines. Tourists from all over the world flock here to feel the powdery white sands, the searing hot but clear blue beach and experience the night life that ensues right after the sun comes down.

The first time I went there in 2006, I was stunned in awe of the whitest sands I've stepped on mirrored by the clearest turquoise waters I've seen. Back then, I only stayed at station 2; but this time I requested Agnes to book us at station 1. Well, it did not disappoint. It may not be the best beach I’ve been to but heck! It’s in my top 5.

For a short narrative of our stay: we trolled around the island for 3 days and 2 nights. It was one of the most relaxing 3 days of my entire life. From the laid back Saturday, to the very busy and people-engulfed Sunday, to the almost empty Monday, we experienced Boracay at its finest. Yes, I’m an outdoorsman but it wouldn’t hurt having a very relaxing and luxurious vacation from time to time!

Come to think of it, Boracay's white beach can also be compared to Mt. Pulag. Yes! everyone hates it because of the congestion it brings but still, the beauty of the place is really undeniable. It may bring a headache once in a while when you accidentally bump on somebody however, the view it offers would really take your mind off it.

And because all we did in Boracay was relax, I will just let the photos speak for the place itself. You be the judge. As for me, I can proudly say that it is one of, if not the most beautiful paradise resorts in the world!
